What is GalFi?

GalFi beginner strategy guide.

GalFi is an upcoming sci-fi 4X play-to-earn strategy game about worlds, colonies, missions, and resources.

  1. Start I bought a world. What now?

    Start with Colony HQ, learn the basic resources, then choose the first strategy path.

  2. 01 Place Colony HQ

    Your first building starts GALFI, GFORE, GFMNR, GFNRG, and GFOOD.

  3. 02 Learn GFORE + GFMNR

    These are your basic construction resources for early buildings.

  4. 03 Pick the correct mine type

    Planet worlds use planet mines, while asteroid worlds use asteroid mines.

  5. 04 Expect upkeep pressure

    Mines help construction but consume GFNRG and GFOOD.

  6. 05 Build Fusion Power Plant + Farm

    Power and food keep your colony from stalling.

  7. 06 Check GFNRG + GFOOD

    If either is negative, fix support before upgrades or ships.

  8. 07 Choose your first strategy

    After upkeep is stable, move into builder, ship, mission, or future prep.

    Builder: upgrade mines and solve slot pressure Ship: build Components Factory, Tetra Mine, and Orbital Shipyard Mission: use Micro Shuttle, Crew, and the correct mission lane

Colony route

Make the base sustainable first.

This page goes deeper into the first colony loop after Colony HQ.

  1. HQ Colony HQ Level 1

    Free setup building and the first economy source.

  2. World Choose planet mine or asteroid mine

    Your world type decides which mine can be built.

    Planet: Planet Ore Mine produces GFORE Planet: Planet Mineral Mine produces GFMNR Asteroid: Asteroid Ore Mine produces GFORE Asteroid: Asteroid Mineral Mine produces GFMNR
  3. Support Fusion Power Plant

    Build this when GFNRG starts limiting growth.

  4. Support Farm

    Build this when GFOOD starts limiting growth.

  5. Gate Net Upkeep Gate

    Do not expand if GFNRG or GFOOD is negative.

    If GFNRG is low: build or upgrade Fusion Power Plant If GFOOD is low: build or upgrade Farm
  6. Scale Upgrade the blocked resource

    Upgrade ore or mineral mines only after support is stable.

  7. Advanced Space Elevator + Space Arcology

    Use Orbit and Lagrange paths when basic production is stable.

  8. Slots Dyson Sphere / Ringworld

    Use megastructures when land slots block the next build.

Ship route

Build ships only after the base can support them.

This path explains what a ship builder needs before Orbital Shipyard.

  1. Precheck Stable Colony First

    Ships are a bad rush if mines, power, and food are not stable.

  2. World Check Orbit + rare resource access

    Orbit is needed for Orbital Shipyard, while TETRA helps the ship cost chain.

    Best scaling: Rare Planet with 20 land, 3 orbit, 3 Lagrange, AMRITA, and TETRA If no ship path: use the world for resources or choose a better ship world
  3. Materials Build the correct ore and mineral mines

    GFORE and GFMNR feed ship costs and shipyard progress.

    Planet: Planet Ore Mine + Planet Mineral Mine Asteroid: Asteroid Ore Mine + Asteroid Mineral Mine
  4. Support Fusion Power Plant + Farm

    Ship buildings still need GFNRG and GFOOD support.

  5. GFCMP Components Factory

    Produces GFCMP for ship costs.

  6. TETRA Tetra Mine or external TETRA

    If your world lacks TETRA access, source TETRA elsewhere.

  7. Orbit Orbital Shipyard

    This is the construction gate for ships.

  8. Levels Upgrade Shipyard by target class

    Level 4 is a progression step before Level 5 capital class.

    Level 1: Small ships and small mechs Level 2: Medium ships and medium mechs Level 3: Large ships, large mechs, and Colony Ship Level 4: Progression step before capital class Level 5: Capital ships and capital mechs
  9. Class Pick ship by mission goal

    Miner, Explorer, Fighter, Pleasure Yacht, and Mech each serve a different route.

    Mining: Miner Exploration: Explorer Combat: Fighter + Mech Social: Pleasure Yacht

Mission route

Run missions for the thing you need next.

This page starts from the player goal, then routes to the correct mission type.

  1. Precheck Stable upkeep before mission focus

    Do not ignore GFNRG and GFOOD just to chase missions.

  2. Goal Choose the reward you need

    The reward target decides the mission lane.

    Need construction resources: Mining Need artifacts: Exploration Need combat route: Combat Need GALFI or GFEXO: Social
  3. Ship Match the ship to the mission

    Specialized ships match specialized mission lanes.

    Mining: Miner Ship Exploration: Explorer Ship Combat: Fighter Ship Social: Pleasure Yacht Starter: Micro Shuttle can enter all mission types
  4. NFT Add Crew, Specialist, or Mech

    Support NFTs improve mission strength and route value.

  5. Duration Choose active or offline timing

    Short missions favor active play, while long missions favor convenience.

  6. Loop Feed rewards back into colony

    Use mission rewards to unlock buildings, upgrades, ships, and future paths.

Upgrade route

Upgrade the bottleneck, not everything.

Start from what is blocking progress, then upgrade the building that fixes it.

  1. 01 Find the bottleneck

    The missing token or slot tells you what to upgrade next.

    Need GFORE: Planet Ore Mine or Asteroid Ore Mine Need GFMNR: Planet Mineral Mine or Asteroid Mineral Mine Need GFNRG: Fusion Power Plant or Orbital Power Array Need GFOOD: Farm Need GFCMP: Components Factory or Space Arcology Need TETRA: Tetra Mine Need AMRIT: Amrita Mine
  2. 02 Check support before scaling

    Negative GFNRG or GFOOD means support comes before production upgrades.

  3. 03 Upgrade the correct building

    Use the 1.5x upgrade path only on the current bottleneck.

  4. 04 Check slot blockers

    Some paths stop because the world lacks the needed slot.

    No Land slot: stop land buildings No Orbit slot: shipyard path is blocked No TETRA slot: TETRA mine path is blocked No AMRITA slot: Amrita Mine path is blocked
  5. 05 Use Dyson Sphere / Ringworld for slot pressure

    Megastructures add +5 build slots when expansion is blocked.

Future route

Prepare later systems after the base is stable.

Future prep should extend the colony, not break the early economy.

  1. Now Stable Colony

    HQ, mines, power, and food should be positive first.

  2. Next Shipyard Path

    Orbital Shipyard and GFCMP chain prepare future ships.

  3. Colonize Colony Ship

    Large ship path for future colonization systems.

  4. Defense Plasma Cannon Battery + Orbital Laser Array

    Phase 2 defense paths should wait until the economy can support them.

  5. Combat Fighter + Mech

    Combat preparation supports future PvP routes.

  6. Social Alliance Ready

    Coordinate once future alliance systems launch.
